- 13 skeins of DMC embroidery floss

Please note, you will need to buy more thread to complete embroidering the kit. The chosen palette is printed in your guide book. How many more of each colour will depend on your colour preferences, stitch choices, and the density with which you embroider the design.

Is this kit for you?
Being a guided-creativity kit, it is really is suitable for many levels of embroidery enthusiast – novice … to stellar.
There’s no blank canvas – the outline design is printed on the fabric. This means no counting of threads or stitches.
The kit has been designed so that it’ll look great even if embroidered solely using running stitch. Think how beautiful and charming simplicity can sometimes be. So yes a beginner could make a great job sewing it.
But you need to have the stamina and sticking power. I’d not a quick sew! You will have a wonderful large scale embroidery to treasure by the end though.
If you’re already a keen and established embroidery enthusiast then you’ll find there’s plenty of scope to experiment with new stitches and stitch and colour combinations in the Gold Comet embroidery kit.
