What’s included in the Sun embroidery kit?
Everything you need to embroider a bespoke Sun cushion cover (or wall art).
- Printed fabric 70% cotton/30% linen
- 8 skeins of DMC embroidery floss
- 2 needles (1 x embroidery; 1 x tapestry)
- 6 inch hoop (15cm approx)
- Embroidery kit instruction booklet
- Fabric for the cushion back
- Durable project box
Cushion pad not included (fits a 45 x 45 cm or 40 x 40 cushion pad, depending on how plump you prefer your cushion).
How long does the ‘Sun’ embroidery kit take to embroider?
The ‘Sun’ kit, embroidered as shown, would take between 30 & 60 hours. Time taken depends on the type of stitches chosen, their scale, and experience.
Is the kit right for you?
This is an excellent question. So, do you like the colours? And the outline design? Do you love embroidery or are you keen to begin? Do you like guidelines but also like the chance to put your own individual stamp on something? If you’ve answered yes to these, then this kit is for you.
Tip: if you’ve never embroidered before, note that the Yelling Tree Press designs can be sewn super simple – just using running stitch – and they will look delicious!
